One thing I love about having girls is the fact that we all like to indulge in a bit of pampering now and then. When our family of six headed to Colorado for our vacation, we decided that my husband and 10-year-old son would have a guys’ weekend in Denver while my three daughters and I enjoyed some frilly girl time.
The Four Seasons hotel in Denver set the scene for us, and did it so well. (Read my blog post on Dine & Dish).
Here are our top highlights for girl time at Four Seasons Hotel Denver:
*Camping indoors: When we walked into our hotel room, the very first thing we noticed was a kid-size tent all decked out for the girls. I don’t think they noticed anything else at first… instead, ran straight to the tent and claimed their space. They loved sleeping in the tent and I enjoyed having the giant, comfy bed all to myself!
*Everyone knows your name: Four Seasons has making people feel special down to a science. The doorman remembered our names each time we came through the lobby, and there were personalized touches based on our tastes and preferences in the room. We felt like royalty the entire time we were there.
*Delicious food: From the special treats in our room on arrival, to our delicious breakfast at the hotel’s own EDGE Restaurant, we especially enjoyed all the food at Four Seasons.
*The bathroom: OK, it may seem silly, but we loved the bathroom. For once, I didn’t have to fight with the girls to take their baths. They got in the big, gorgeous tub and didn’t want to get out. I had a glass of wine and enjoyed some time in the tub as well, and really loved the luxurious shower. Plus, the hotel had big fluffy robes for all of us, which was an extra-special touch.
*The view: Our room overlooked downtown Denver and our view of the mountains was breathtaking.
We had planned on leaving the hotel and hanging out in Downtown Denver, but ended up spending the majority of our time in our room. We liked it that much! Perfect for our very special girls’ night in.
