New Mexico’s Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe has a new by-request Chef’s Table, inviting guests back into the kitchen for an evening of slicing and dicing, calling out orders and stirring soup, plus a multi-course tasting menu with wine pairing option. JoBeth and Berry Cash joined Executive Chef Andrew Cooper in January and invited the whole family. They loved the experience so much, they created a special photo book and presented it as a gift to the chef.
What: Chef Andrew impressed us all with his creativity, personal interaction with each of us, and fabulous food.
When: Berry and I live in Tesuque (near Santa Fe), and Berry’s son and daughter-in-law brought their four children to visit us the week after Christmas.
Who: Joining us was the Cash family, who live in Dallas, Texas: parents Charlie and Rachael with children Caroline, Mary, Charles Junior and Henry.
Why: It was a most memorable evening. Charlie, Rachael and kids are still talking about it. Charles Junior is a very active Boy Scout, and Chef Andrew was telling him that he got interested in cooking through Scouts (Chef is an Eagle Scout). That really excited Charles! Spending time in the kitchen with Chef Andrew, and being served his tasting menu, is such a wonderful experience for any age!
